Il programma combina un potente database e un motore visivo foto-realistico.
Stellarium è un planetario virtuale completo, con più di 120.000 stelle, pianeti, costellazioni, ... e offre un sistema di navigazione completamente personalizzabile, con il quale sarai in grado di selezionare la posizione del cielo che vorrai osservare.
