Office For Mac 2016 Installer
Select the Office folder from the virtual drive and then double-click either the Setup32.exe to install the 32-bit version of Office, or Setup64.exe to install the 64-bit version to begin the offline installation. If you're not sure which version is right for you, see Choose the 64-bit or 32-bit version of Office. When you see the message, You're all set, you can. Download Office 2016 64-Bit Offline Installer. If you need the 64-Bit version in another language, then follow the below instructions. This will install Office 365 with the new 2016 apps. After signing in to the Office.com, click on the Install button and select the second option.

JAMF Pro is a device management tool used to deliver software and help to provide service and management for Apple devices on the School of Medicine network. JAMF Pro will be used to provide Office 2016 to Mac users in preparation for the Office 365 migration. Following the below instructions will install JAMF Pro and install Office 2016 if it is not already installed on your Mac.
Part 1: Enrollment
1. Open Safari.
2. Navigate to https://nc.jamfcloud.com/enroll
3. Log in with your ONYEN and ONYEN Password.
4. Click on Download.
5. Open the file and install.
6. Once the install is complete, you will be enrolled in JAMF Pro.
Part 2: Office 2016 Installation
1. After enrollment is complete, Self-Service will be available in your Applications folder. If you do not already have Office 2016 installed, it will appear in Self-Service.
2. Before installing Office 2016, note that the operating system required to install and run Office 2016 is MacOSX 10.10.
3. Find Microsoft Office 2016 under the Featured category, and click Install. This process may take up to 45 minutes.
4. Congratulations! You now have Office 2016!
Office for Mac that comes with a Microsoft 365 subscription is updated on a regular basis to provide new features, security updates, and non-security updates. The following information is primarily intended for IT professionals who are deploying Office for Mac to the users in their organizations.

- Starting with Version 16.21, Microsoft Teams will be installed by default for new installations if you're using the Office suite install package. For more information, see Microsoft Teams installations on a Mac.
- For security reason, Microsoft has deprecated the use of SHA-1. Learn more
- Starting with the 16.17 release in September 2018, this information also applies to Office 2019 for Mac, which is a version of Office for Mac that’s available as a one-time purchase from a retail store or through a volume licensing agreement.
- The update history information for version 16.16 and earlier also applies to Office 2016 for Mac, which is also a version of Office for Mac that’s available as a one-time purchase. Older versions up to and including 16.16 can be activated with an Office 2016 for Mac volume license. You can’t activate version 16.17 or later with an Office 2016 for Mac volume license.
